Back back back once agn after a long hiatus:))
Well school resumes tmr n a busy bee i wld be...There goes my shopping sprees, beauty sleep, outing wit my precious fly n dearie frens, ahhh my social life wld be so mundane for the next few mths at least...Ahhh nvm nvm i shall endure, juz one and a half year to go...time wld fly by in a wink of an eye and before i noe it i wld be a graduate..Yeah:)))
N i juz wish i cld fast forward my life in 5 yrs time...I really wana noe wat wld i be doing then n how diff my life wld be from now....
Pardon me but im in one of my paranoid moments n i really duno yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy... I need answers to the many qns that is running thru my mind, n the only person that cld give me the answers is GOD...
So plz my almighty drop me hints n assure me n answer all my qns....Hahahaa but whateva it is i'm sure u wld bless me with best and nothing less...
But u noe at times this paranoial feeling n thoughts get the better of me...Well dun really feel like confiding in anyone besides God cuz he noes me the best..So yeah shall wait till he ans all the qnsss:)))

I haven been blogging for the longest time ever.. Not dat im very busy or wat juz dat purely lazy to do so..Hahaha anyways now dat i haf some time to kill shall blog whatever dat comes to my mind which means dis is goin to be another random entry..

Well i shall start of with announcing to everyone that i haf gotten myself a new HP..Hahah though i totally din plan to buy a hp anytym soon but the circumstance had lead me into buying a new hp..My previous precious phone dropped n broke into pieces..Sobs:(
N to the suprise of my fly n even me i haf gotten myself a sony ericsson C902 hp, i was such a ardent fan of Nokia but i guess some people's influence were greater so yeah..Well im still gettin used to a Sony ericsson hp, it's not as bad as i tot is was..But 1 thing i cnt deny is dat i still prefer Nokia's camera...Though my current hp's camera is 5 megapixel vs my nokia 5610's camera which was only 3.2 megapixels..I still feel dat nokia's camera was wayyy better..Believe it anot i haf only taken like 3 pics since buying the phone which is NOT me..Haiz oh well but on a happier note, i haf gotten myself a new hp n m loving it:))

Hmm oh n im going on night today with my 2 lovelies, wat can get better than doing nite shifts wit ur buddies..Luking forward to a peaceful 3 nights ahead:)

N i haf yet to upload pics on my latest getaway with the fly which was on the 17 & 18 Jan..Went to Batam agn but this with the familyloves...N not forgettin the superbly gd massage, wld upload the pics either on friendsta or Fb weneva i get the time that is...

Alrights then im off to get a lil nap...Haf a great week ahead all n tke cre:))

Well this is officially my first post for 2009.. Wasn't really intending to update till i realised dat i haf an avid fan of my blog..Hahah n dat's none other than Nisa:)) So i shall update on the lil happenings in my life thus far, enjoy reading babe:))

Well i began this new year in the midst of my patients..Yesh was on nite duty from the 31st till 3rd of Jan..So i had to count down in my ward with four of my other colleagues n thank god at least fiqa was wit me..N i din feel dat horrible after all.. N the best part was we cld see the fireworks from one of the cubicles.. At least dat helped get us in the new year mood while all others were happily partying the new year away...Well fiqa n i promised dat we wld countdown for 2010 together again but def not goin to be in the ward agn..N believe it anot we actually already put up our request for a PH on 01012010...Hahaha:)

Well school wld resume soon in Feb so i better cherish n spend all my spare time wisely with all my loved ones cuz once sch starts i wld def be filled to the brim balancing btw work n school.. So all my loved ones quick date me before feb ok? hehe

Hmm well the sister's b'dae is next week n the fly is planning for a mini getaway to either to Batam or Cameron Highlands' over next weekend:))

So yeah at least there is something exciting to luk forward next weekend... :)

Oh n as of late my shoulders has been such a torture..Blame it on the super heavy working load n super heavy pts..Been having very painful stiff shoulders..

Even massages dun seem to help, haf applied the cool patch n hope it wld betta by tmr or mite considering goin for x-ray if the pain persists...:(

It cld be quite worrying wen some of my colleagues had to undergo ops cuz of this shoulder pains...keeping my fingers crossed dat mine wld not be a chronic prob n wld resolve real soon..

Ok i guess dats all for now, n i juz realised dat i haf been blogging abt totally random stuffs..Hope dis post dis bore u guys...

How time flies, today wld be the last dae of 2008...Significant dae to blog rites..Hahaha been long since i last blogged..N all the pics dat i promised to upload im so sowie dun tink haf the tym to do so here..Those who are in my friendster or facebook list cld check up the pics there:)

Well 2008 has been rather a wonderful year despite it starting off quite badly but it's definitely ending the way i want it to be:))

I believe everthing dat happened did happen for a reason n it was such a blessing in disguise:)

I did new things. I met up with alot of beautiful new people. I went to new places. I learnt a lot more about myself. I learnt a lot more about others. I learnt a lot more about the world. I found happiness , in least expected ways. In my friends, in my loved ones.

I made sure I only did things I liked and enjoyed.People made me feel good about myself. Made me feel special. Made me feel absolutely loved..Wat more cld i ask for..

I haf got to thank God for all the blessings and guidiance..N now i'm luking forward 2009..I believe it wld be a even more wonderful n fabulous year full of happiness, peace n love:))

N before i end this post i wish everyone out there a very Happy New Year 2009..May all of ur wishes come true, be happy all year round & be in the best of health...Tke cre all n haf a blast..

Spa retreat

Yeah juz back from my much anticipated short getaway hours agooo:))

It was such a GREAT getaway i shd sae..Niwae i went to Batam n the spa retreat was like WOW..Seriously i din expect it to be this good, i really had alots of fun and the much deserved relaxation dat i craved for the past mths..

It's a place i wld highly n strongly recommend all who wants a short n relaxing getaway which doesn't burn a hole in ur pockets...And those who loves massages n spas,It wld be a heaven to u..And it wld also make a very gd romantic setting n so it wld be a great retreat for couples..Hahah esp the Harris Resort's Cabbana n their spa packages, i feel it wld be the perfect setting to celebrate anniversaries...:)))
The staff over at Harris are so friendly n cheerful n their theme colour so happened to be orange..So everywhere was bright n vibrant:))

Ok so i shall blog abt the main things dat i did at Batam over the 2 days:

DAY 1:
Took the 9.20 ferry to Batam, camwhored quite abit in the ferry n oh ya speaking of cameras..My bestie brought her camera where her batt was totally flat n i the other smart one 4got to brg my camera charger..Lol but thank got my camera din die on me till the end of the trip..Phew ok moving on reached Batam then we got picked up by the Harris Staff n taadaa we were at Harris Resorts..
And the weird but best part was one of the staff over at the reception brought us up to our stipulated hotel room, then suddenly out of the blue he asked do u want to see our cabannas? If u like it then i can upgrade ur room to it FOC..Hahaha n the cabanna was soooo gorgeous, n who wld sae no to a better place n for FOC rite..So we immediately said ok n enjoyed the luxurious cabanna...How much luckier we cld get rite, hmm but i reckon maybe cuz the cabanna was free on weekends n datz y he came up with offer i guess..N if u pple go there u shd def stay at the cabanna, it's really very comfy n romantic i shd sae:)))

So yeah then left our lugguage n went over to Nagoya- the biggest shopping centre in Batam...Well nothing much to shop there but their tidbits n keropoks were a gd buy...Oh ya there was A&W , so those s'preans are craving for it cld go over there n feast..Then me n my bestie walked ard abit n decided we shd go for a pedicure, it was so cheap there..ONly $10 for a classic pedi which is a very gd deal:))

Then we headed back to resort n went for our 3 hour spa retreat which was soooooooooooo gddddd...Satisfaction guaranteed..Our package consisted of aromatherapy massage, head/neck/shoulder massage, hot stone massage, foot reflexology, herbal scrub n jacuzzi..It was so heavenly, totally wat i needed...N i totally enjoyed myself lal, felt so elated..Ahh it was such a blissful feeling..I wld definitely go back there agn seriously i wld gif em 5 thumbs up:))

Then went back to the cabanna for a shower, went for dinner n then to the bar since i badly wanted to try magarita..Tried the mango magarita n it so sucked..I was practically gaggin while trying hard to get in down my throat, yucks it tasted horrible..Luckily tien helped me to finish it up..Thanx alot tien:))) then headed back sonce we both wanted to watch the last episode of Project Runway..N dat summed up my day 1:)

DAY 2:
Woke up around 8.30 am, n it felt so weird la..I had a feeling lyk i slept for sooooo long but it act ard 8 hours only..But wen i woke up it felt like i slept like for the whole day, hmmm probably i felt dat way due to the splendid massage i guess Lol..Ahh tinking of the massage makes me wana go there agn NOW la...haha so anyways after our breakfast walkied ard abit packed our stuffs , checked out but still had to kill time till 4pm..So decided to go for our complimentary foot reflexology where my feet got pampered again :))
Then camwhored abit more by the poolside n the gym..Had our late lunch n headed back to Spore..:)

It was a short trip but totally a blissful n relishing one...I wld definitely go there agn with my fly n loved one..Seriously i wld def recommend it to everyone...I wld post all the pics in the next post ok...Oh n my exam results are out did fairly well i shd sae...At least like wat vel said not bad for a start, wld work much harder for the upcoming sems:)))

Well dats all for now...Have a great weekend ahead pple n enjoy shopping for Xmas...All the festives are ard the corner..N dat calls for a celebraton n i can't wait for 2009 to come alg..Alot of good things r awaiting i reckon:))))

I haf gotta admit dat this year B'dae was a blast..I was filled ard with soooo many sweet pple ard who totally made my this year b'dae a memorable one:))

Celebrations started out right from the eve of my b'dae when my bestie n i went out:)

Since she long wanted to take me to Max Brenner for the sinful chocolate delights, she decided to do so on dat dae:))

N oh my the waffle there is heavenly, n for those crazy choc lovers, it's a place u shd not miss..N for ur info it is located at esplanade..It's a MUST try:))

Then walked ard abit n suddenly saw the S'pore flyer rite in front n i soooo wanted to try it..N then my bestie being the sweet one decided to make my wish come true..N taadaa i went on the flyer...Hahahah:)))

Though it was quite scary when we reached the peak, but the scenery was nice though both us agreed u wld get to see more detailed stuffs in the day..But all in all i totally enjoyed the experience:))))

Then went back home to ard 9 oddish to get some well deserved sleep since i was almost sleepless the past entire week due to presentations..But din realise that my precious ones had a midnight suprise for me..Hahahah :)

Must sae i totally din see it coming since ALL of u put up such a nice act..Lol:P

Well sharp 12 vel called n wished me, n when asked where he was , he replied outside with a fren..Then followed by malar wished me n said hey i left a present at ur studyroom table, Go n see now..

Hahah n naturally i walked out of my mum's room n realised that my studyroom door was closed..So yeah went to open it n taadaaa Vel n malar were in there with a cake in their hands n wishing me Happy B'dae aloud together with mummy, sisters,mary n thish..Hahahah was so caught off guard la but still it was such an amazing feeling:)))

N i taught dat was all but i had another mega suprise part two on the next day..Where they plannes a suprise b'dae party at Semb park...Ahhh i was superduper touched by all the efforts by everyone seriously...The pains dat they took to keep it suprise n not allowing me to suspect anythg...All the decos they had to put up...all the preplannings..I felt sooo loved ..Thank u ALL SO much for the wishes, presents n suprises..I mean EVERY single one of u pple made my day, it cld be haf been juz a simple wish, but dat is enuff to show me dat u pple took the effort to remember..N the thought is wat dat counts n esp so for me:))

N i tot i need mention a few of the sweet pple n thank em for all their extra efforts:)

1) My Parents- Thank U both so much for playing along to keep it as a suprise. For dad to drive me to the temple in the morn though u were so tired post nite..Mummy for helping prepare all the dishes..N lastly, for the costly gift:)) I love u both so SO so much..:)

2) The Sisters- The main organisers of the entire event, i totally appreciate all the efforts u haf put in n all the money u both haf spent...From the bottom of my heart THANK u so much kiki n pipi..Love u both to bits n turely haf proved how blessed im to get u both as sisters:)

3) The bestie Tien- Thank u so much for all the treats u gave me in one day n taking me to the Flyer...:)) U totally made the eve of my b'dae a super memorable one..N we shall be frens forever..Love u di n im so luking forward for our batam trip:))

4) Vel - I tot it was so sweet of u to remember what i really loved n to get dat for me as a b'dae present n the card was so gorgeous:)) Thank u so much for cuming all the way at 12 am juz to suprise me n all the preplannings u did with my sisters..I totally appreciate it doink n thank u so much for making my this yr B'dae a memorable one:)))

5)Malar - For all the drama u had to put up to see me suprised..For taking the trouble to come down at 12 am despite ur mum being sick..N for all the preplannings u did with pipi n kiki..Thank u so much my dearest..i love u Muacks:))

6)Syafiqah - I haf known u for only 6 mths but babe im so suprised with the great chemistry dat we share n THANK u so much for the gorgeous chain..I mean till now i duno how on earth did u get me the same exact chain dat i so badly wanted mths ago..Hahaha chemistry indeed..Thank u so many the much my dearest..Muacks:)

7) To Everyone else for ur Wishes & Presents..Thank u all SO much from the bottom of my heart:))

Oh my neva had a more hectic week than last week eva before...neva had more than 4 hours of sleep the whole of last week..

But oh well all the sleepless nights, endless meeting haf all paid off..Yesh i haf scored an A for my presentation..:)))

Totally din expect it, was just hoping for a pass but an A was really very shocking..But muz admit dat did motivate all of us to do better for our next semester's presentation..Hahaha such procrastinators' we were..LOL..

And on a happier note, a semester has ended and i wld be free till next february when my next semester starts...So yeah now my social life wld be back on track..:)))

And though i was superduper tired, i went to watch High school musical 3 wit syafiqah dearest since i was so happy wit my results..

N i muz admit it was such a SUPER SWEET movie..totally enjoyed it and i mean dat is wat i call love..N Zac Efron is super hotttt, such a hot bod and a boyish handsome face hes got..Ahhhhh..Sweet sweet:)

N i sooo can't wait for my upcoming batam trip wit the bestie:)))

Ahhh my blog seems so dead la...Goshhh
Anyways have been spending sum quality tym with the loved ones over last week, finally got to meet the bestie n managed to go for sum retail therapy:)
N then to nite safari - halloween horror with the fly, vel n malar...Muz admit dat it was darn good n i highly recoommend u pple to go:)
I'm sure lots of fun n terror wld be awaiting...
Oh n i haf done my deepavali shopping too, lyk finally sumthg got my eye..N it's a tube chuditar wich i wanted for this year n i got it:))
Though it's not those heavily sequined kinds but i juz lyk the unique design n wat more it's a TUBE:))
N watz keeping me luk forward to Nov wld be the short getaway with the bestie:))
All seems confirmed n i soooo can't wait, I so need a break reallyyyy, it's been so hectic the past few mths n now i juz can't waittttttt:))

Well thank god i recovered before examz, at least i cld mug peacefully without having a heavy head dat spins n a runny nose...hahha well fasting is goin to end soon too, n im so goin to treat myself to Thai express after this saturday..Hahah i so miss fish n chicken at this point of time la...

Oh n im so sowie to all my dearest ones that i cnt jalan raya wit u guys this yr cuz of my examz, but def make up for dat ok:(..We still haf a pending trip to Sentosa remember ? N well deepavali is nearing n im still yet to shop yet...Hopefully the next time i head to Tekka there wld be sumthg dat catches my eye..

Haiz i still haf a pending assgnment n presentation to tink abt, a mini holiday wich i haf yet to plan, deepavali preps n cleaning, outing with the bestie, sisters n colleagues....See so many things but so little time...Arghhh:(

Haiz i juz duno watz up with my immune system these days...It had been less then a mth where i was down wit a bad URTI alg with fever n yesterday was down wit it again...:(
This time with no pre-warning signs at all, juz felt that nose was runny n least did i knew i was already running a temp..Grr n not wanting to take a MC, decided to drag myself to work but it was such a bad decision...
Had a temp of 38.5 n practically was floating around..Head was soo heavy, felt lyk wanting to faint, nose didn't stop leaking n to add to my already weak condition was admissions with super long changes n uncooperative patients who wanted to climb out of bed , iv plugs keep getting blocked, patient who refused nebs when she was supposed to have it STRICTLY n since there was no Nic i was also the one to give my own IVs..So all in all a super shitty day n din noe why of all the days time seemed to pass super slowly yesterday, i juz clnd't wait for it to strike 9.30, so dat i quickly cld get out of the place n get the required medical attention n juz drop flat on my bed....Well well thank god someone sweet came to fetch me after work, thank u SO much for all the times where u came to fetch me after work n esp those times where i was not feeling well :))
So now im on a day MC,feeling much better n hope the fever dun spike up again..Enuff is enuff wldn't wana fall sick at least for the next 6 mths plsss..Haha n there i have a pending assignment n an exam next week..N i haf not started a SINGLE thing...Arghhhh procrastinated enuff i guess ok shall go n start studying..Tke cre all n advance SELAMAT HARI RAYA wishes to all my muslim friends n to all the muslims out there:))

Back back well i promised to come bck wit kikilove's b'dae updates...Dun haf dat much time on hand to blog in great detail , so shall juz summarise n then u guys ken feast on the pics hahhaa..N for those who needs a detailed update on her b'dae, visit kiki's blog ok..Hahah :P

Anyways on the eve of her b'dae at ard 11.30pm a group of sweetharts gathered under the block to gif kiki a midnight b'dae suprise..Hahaha n dat sister of mine juz doesn't noe how to gif dat suprised look la..She was lyk so normal , anyways she is a gal wit little reactions n not as drama as pipi n me..Oh n i wld also lyk to take this opportunity to thank all the people who came down so late juz to make the suprise possible..a big THANK you to each n every sweethart:)))

So then on her b'dae we went out for a family dinner at Gayatris', got aadmit the food was good..N if anyone is craving for some good indian authenic food, shd seriously go there..Two thumbs up for the food there:)))

N lastly we decided to give her a suprise bbq party which actually din turn out to be a suprise in the end..Hahah thanks to the mummyloves of mine, she was talking abt the bbq so loudly over the phone dat my sis overheard the entire conversation la..Haizzz but nevertheless i guess she was super touched wit all the efforts dat we put up for the bbq, actually kiki u batter be touched...Hahaha:P
So yeah kiki's b'dae celebrations finally ended n i haf to seriously get back to my assignments, n im havin my exam in two weeks time..Wish me luck everyone:))

HAPPY B"DAE DADDYLOVES:)))

Well yesterday was the daddyloves b'dae..Wasn't really a grand affair but a simple n a meaningful celebration amg the five of us..:)
Went to the temple in the evening n after which to Gokuls for a veg feast..Hmm din haf a choice to choose on the venue since mum was veg , we were choiceless..Hahaha anyways had alots of fun n of course alot of camwhoring was done:)
Suprisingly dad agreed to camwhore wit us..Hahaha n though daddy i noe dat u wld neva chance upon my blog but stil i haf to sae dat i LOVE u many many daddy..

So on 31 aug was malar loves B'DAE...Ok i shall try my very best to summarise the events n let the pics do all the toking kies..
So on the eve wewent out for some sinful lunch at seoul garden, where we sat, ate, chatted for ard 2 hours++ till our butts were sore..Hahahah n the next dae we had a bbq session n thanx to vel dat i at least manged to reach there at ard 10pm:)
I had to rush there after my pm duty, but thank god vel was the saviour:))

So anyways had alots of fun during the bbq session - all the chats, pics, hugs, kisses, sabohs n jokes:))

Ok since i haf some time on hand now, shall blog aby yesterday's dinner with the fly at Newton:))
Was a last min decision as we all realised that we wld all be free for dinner, so preya, dad n me went to pick up vickyloves from Kkh then over to Mt E hosp to pick up the mummyloves then drove off to Newton to haf dinner, actually it was more like a feast..Hahaha we were so full that we were almost dozing off on the way back home:))
I love such dinners wit my family, it cld be a totally simple affair, but the quality time spent wit my precious ones really makes my dae:))
N i shd thank my parents for makin it a weekly habit to haf dinner together n hope this practice wld last forever with all those additional sweetharts who wld be part of the fly in years to come:))

Yeah so my three nights are over...I muz admit this round was the best eva compared to my other cycles of night..Though i had admissions but i still managed to settle all my stuffs by 6am..N datz considered gd enuff for me:)
Though i still dun get how as a senior staff, u ken behave in dat manner...Despite noeing dat i had so many IVs around the clock, u still din even bother to help, i mean the least u cld do is to offer help...But u din though u so clearly noe dat it's ur responsibility to give the Ivs n do the hypocounts.. But Thank god i cld still manage to do all of em n still complete my work in time..
Haiz it's juz so sad dat i do haf such colleagues who are so not reasonable n not willing to lend a helping hand when in need...:((
But on a happier note, i still haf a couple of sweetharts at work who makes the place a better one to work at:))
N oh yeah forget to mention we passed the JCI audit- it seems dat the auditors mentioned that we were one of the best hospitals they haf audited on so far:))
Hahaha well well only the staff of ttsh noe wat stress we underwent weeks before the audit n on the audit week itself..N how we were continously tormented by our NOs...Argh and i was one of the few unlucky ones to be on thruout the entire 5 days..
Haha I still remembered on how hard i wld pray everyday for em not to audit our ward n guess wat - we were NOT audited..But the mental stress till fri was toturous and ..Okay shall not go there, anyways it's OVER:)))

Well i'm back again:) Happy Belated National Day:))

For now shall update abt the happenings on 09/08/08...

Well really din had the mood to hang out n watch fireworks over at esplanade but since i oreadi promised my malar loves i had no choice but to drag myself:P

But muz admit did haf alot of fun wit the adorable ones:))

So met up at ard 6 oddish at cityhall n walked over at sum place near esplanade..N we were juz in time to view the aircrafts "stunts" haha all the past years i haf watched em in tv n tot it was nothin dat fascinating..But after watchin it live yesterday, i tot it was so super cool hahaha:)
Now i mite consider goin to watch next yr's NDP live , so if anyone has the tickets remember to count me in..:))
N the fireworks were so gorgeous, but it was not worth watchin it in such a crowded ,banglas infested, sardine packed situation..We were literally glued to each other n cld not even turn an inch..Argh totally hated that part almost suffocated n ran out off o2..Hahah mite sound a lil exaggerated but seriously it was horrible standin in such a environment..:(
Oh well after the fireworks we made our way to arab street for sheesha...Had alots of fun crapping n bitching n by the time im home i was super TIRED!!!

N today bein my off day, i spent it sleepin half the day thru hopin to compensate for all the lack of slp i had for the past week..So hopefully i wld be rejuvenated by tmr:))

Well Gd afternoon all:))

So much of fun i had over the last week- sweet suprises, weekends with the polymates n quality time wit the bestie n fly:))

Haiz after class has started, it's been like a mundane lifestyle, work , school , hm thaat kinda routine lifestyle:(

Haiz n tinking abt the assignments, presentations, examz makes me go bongus...

Ok shall braggin abt sch, let me blog abt the happier times..
Well it all started on thur nite after work , wen "sumone" came over to fetch me from work n gave me a superrrr sweet SUPRISE:))) Hahah sumthg wich i totally din see cuming but oh well i was taken aback..Hahah even tinkin of it now makes me giggle:)))

Well im juz a happier person now n wld def wana fell this way 4eva..Everythg seems to be moving in the right direction n guess it's juz a matter of time i wld noe:)))

Hahah well shall not go into great details cuz this "sumone" wld get to see my blog sooner or later..So if u eva read this a big BLEAH to u..hahaha"P

So movin on sat i get to meet up with my ex poly mates well though the entire class din cum down , a handful turned up n we juz had fun wit em..All the gossips, fun n laughter..haiz juz makes me wana get bk to poly la...:((

Hmm ok anyways on sun felt that my hair needs a revamp, i headed to the hairdressers' n when i was done wit it, i was so shocked by the end result..It was so super bright la..Argh i was so worried dat it luked awful ..But the sweet ones ard me said it was fine n it luked nice but me being the paranoid one was not convinced..Well today wen i get to work only wld i noe if dat colour is approved..Hahahah hmm let me luk like a notti gal for once..Hahah n after wich my sweet bestie picked me up from the saloon n we drove to newton for a hearty dinner n shoppin over at cityhall..:)
N i love such quality time with the bestie n all those heart-to -heart chats we had..I juz so love u tien hartisa:))

Anyways i wanted to blog on how horrible the third day of my night duty was..But u all noe wat a PROCRASTINATOR i am..hahah nvm i shall do it as briefly as poss n i wonder if i ken sill remember all the details..

1st nite- Most imptly full house, i had only 4 hypocounts(1st time in history 4 me), 3 Iv meds..See such a peaceful night:)

2nd nite- Had one empty bed but guess wat I had no admissin thru the entire freakin nite(which neva eva happened to me before cuz my nite surely muz admit one), still only 4 hypocounts n only 2 Ivs..So see another peaceful nite:))

3rd n the most busiest nite in my entire nursing life - Chest tubes, trachy, Pt on ventilator, C/o SEVERE chest pain, countless ABGs n blood cultures i despatched dat nite, Ecgs, hrly hypocount, Continuous insulin infusion, hrly para, desatuartion, pt turning violent, a near missed fall,two admissions, Fever at 39.6, started takin parametres at 11.30pm, started writing report at 3am..Omg cldn't tink of worser nite than dis before..Did not even get a chance to eat or less to sae drink..Argh at the end of the nite i was almost dead with the aching feet..Thank god my last nite, if nottt cnt imagine..
N luckily i had great colleagues wit me dat nite who helped me thru...N i survived thru it all:))

Hmm actually i haf alots to blog abt..But everytym i keep procrastinating to blog dat now i feel lyk i dun haf much to blog abt..

Anyways i haf been having very gd bonding sessions wit my friends..One whom i haf not met for TEN long years n the wit the bestie whom i have not met for a while..Haha n i tink im blessed wit really gd friend sall ard me...All are angels in disguise n thank u lord for dat:))

Well managed to catch a movie earlier juz now, well all i ken sae dat the movie really helped to reinforce to me dat things dat occurs in ur life really happens for a REASON..N for whateva reason dat thing happened to me, i'm sure god had a very valid reason for dat..So i'm not gona to kip braggin abt it..I wld juz stop resisting n go wid the flow, n thank god for blessing me with all the sweet people ard me n esp my FAMILY..

Ok backo as promised..Hmm well have been hafin loads of fun during my off days:))

So on fri evening, got to mit the cousin n went for the most awaited movie- Sex and the city..Hmm i shall not into the details of the movie as sum mite not haf watched it yet, but i seriously feel that the movie shd be R21 wit all those expicit scenes..Hmm but the storyline was nice abt love, life..But overall i liked the movie minus those gross scenes..

Then on Sat, decided to head to JB n it was SO FUN..Felt dat the Day off was spent in such a enjoyable n worthy manner:))
But it felt more like a n eating tour, we practically ate non stop..
Started at the indian restaurant wit rice, chicken,mutton,eggs,tahu,maggi goreng then headed over to Coffeebean n then ate cheesecake,brownie,my all time fav pure choc iceblend n then walked ard for abit n decided we shall feast agn, so headed over to Seasons aka swensens n ate egg crossiant,tuna baguette,cream of chicken,ice-cream..N if u think it ended there NOPE it din, came back to S"pore n felt a lil hungry then we ate prata n maggi soup...So c wasn't it an eating tour??

Haha nevertheless we had loads of fun..:))

N i seriously wana go for a holiday, dun mind even if it's for 3 days but juz wana haf a getaway..hmm wld work on dat soon..

Well it's not dat i din kip my promise to update frequently but it's juz dat i was juz too ill to do so...
Was down with the so horrible URTI with the never subsiding fever, n first time out of the 9 mths of working life i took MC n dat too for 2 days...But wat cld i do, i cldn't evn walk with the fever fluctuatin from 38.6 to 39, my head feeling so heavy..Gosh my days MC was spent in the bed just sleeping, Haiz n at least today im much better guess the augmentin helped..N tmr is mother' day n im working pm..So sad:((
Hmm well no matter wat i still LOVE my mum all the same, n i cldn't ask for a better mum than mine..I LOVE U WITH ALL MY HEART MUM..MUACKS:))

Well yesterday, i had an impromptu outing with siti,eng n lenny...I juz suggested it out of the blue to go out aft work n they all agreed..N it was so sweet of em to wait till i finish work at 9.30..Thank u for being such darlings..N aft dat followed non-stop bitching abt almost everythg n anythg...Hahaha hmm but i miss janice, we shd really mit up soon la gal n oso nisa guess we haf to fly to aus to bitch..Hahaha

N today managed to catch a movie with my sis n fren & oso quality time with the family, went out for a delicious seafood dinner(i still prefer the chilli crab to the peper ones:P) followed by chilling at Sembawang beach with ice-cream,satays n rojak..Yesh my family do haf a large appetite..N yesh dat sums up for today..

N blood transfusions seem to be the IN ting now, almost all patients are on blood transfusions, everythg from FFPs to PCt to platelets, n all this for juz ONE pt...Haiz sumone plz kidnap me n brg me for a holidayyyyyyyyy!!!!!

I felt lyk the entire world came tumbling down on the 30th of DEC..Yesh it was juz 2 days to 2008 n while everyone was lukin forward to 2008, i was so NOT...It felt as though i lost everything im my life...

Omg i cnt believe it's 3 days since my mum left to Sri Lanka...The house seems so quiet without her..All i have realised these past few days dat mum u can neva be replaced..
From all our movie escapes, our dinings at the various restaurants to our muz have swensen's ice -cream after every meal,I miss everthing...N most imptly helping me analyse my probz n making me tink in a positive outlook n how she wld make my day by not failing to sms me daily...Haiz mum i juz pray that death shd fall upon me first before u cuz i can neva see you go...MUACKS :)

Hey im back again...Yesterday i got to meet my dearest bachin fren eva..N it was such an impromptu
meeting but im glad we did meet up and managed to catch up so much on the happenings on each others' life and not forgetting the amt of gossipings we do....Haha

Hmm my blog seems to be dying..Well i shall try to post randoms pics to revive it..Haha well time really flies so damn fast..It's oready 3 n a half mths ever since i haf started working..Hmm n datz juz so many things dat i have to do but keep procrastinating...
1. I so wana catch up with my dear friends whom i have not seen for over a mth:((
2. I need to have some retail therapy, have been missing on dat so so so much:(

Story of my life.....

Work - Home - Work - Home - Work - Home -Work - Home - Work - Home - Work - Home - Work - Home...So dat sums up my life for now..I cannot do the things i wan as n when i feel lyk..Time is such a constraint now dat im working sumtyms it juz leads to frustrations..I cnt meet the people i wan, i miss..though i cnt be complaining alot cuz this is the path i chose but sumtyms i juz need a BREAK...Ok i gotta get ready for my pm shift, yesh it's a sunday n im on pm shift....Hope it's a smooth dae ahead, till my next post take care all:)))

Yesh finally i mange to squeeze out some ty to blog..It's been weeks since i blogged n everytym i wana do so i juz dun haf the energy to..What else now my life only revolves ard my WORK, WORK n WORK..

Well i got so much of pics to upload but guess i shall do it im my next entry..For now i shall blog on whatever that has been happening in the past weeks, hope i can still remember every single outings..

It started off with the mini picnic my family had at Sembawang park, where we brought home cooked food to the beach, sat n managed to catch up on what's been happening in each other's lifes....

Then i finally i went joggin with my sissy, haha after such a long tym n yesh my muscles were all aching the next few days..Haha..

Oh i oso managed to do some shopping at Bugis, yesh dat too after such a long tym..when i was in NYP practically my gals n i wld go ton at least once in a week..Haiz miss those days, nowadays much of my money goes to FOOD:(

Hmm then the bf's op, yesh he went for anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction..N since he has numeous of allergies to various painkillers, he haf to only survive on tramadol which so doesn't work for him..My poor boy has to bear all dat pain, haha n being bed bound for lyk almost 3 days..N i was his private nurse seriously everything from removing his bandage, to help him elevate his leg to putting the brace for him, applying cold compress, massaging, n giving him cold compress when he was running a fever,giving him drinks,persuading him to eat..Haha yesh u see i was a private nurse but with no pay...Haha so havin a gf as a nurse sure helps at least it did for my bf..Anyway he was running a temp on 2nd day of op n i was so worried that he was havin an infection n being a paranoid, i was prctically taking his temp every hour to make sure he was doing fine..Thank god his temp decreased n he is much better n next week wld be his session with the physiotherapist n hope he ken start walking all again:))

N yeah i have gone for my IV course, passed my theory test but have to study hard for my practical which dun seem to be dat easy..Anyway i shall worry abt dat much later n yesh at least i din feel dat bored for the 2 days cuz my dearest loud ger, Janice was with me..Haha it was good catching up wit u gal..N my other gals in level 10 ,I MISS u all:((

Not forgetting my bachin friend, Tien Hartisa , im MISSin u many many, we shd mit up by next week...I seriously wana catch up wit ya...:((

Well besides all dat this we celebrated my dad's birhtday on the 5th of this month..It was a simple affair within the family n even though i know u wun be reading this I LOVE U DADDY..thank you for the many sacrifices u haf made n the often rides u give me to n fro from work..I love u many many muacks:))

N today is my 2nd sister's B'dae..HAPPY BIRTHDAY kiki..Me love u many many..Muacks n hope u are havin a gd tym with ur frens:))

I shd oso take this tym to wish my younger sissy, Preya..ALL the BEST for ya prelims..Study Hard n im sure ur hardwork wld be paid off:)))

Lastly i have nominated my mum for Lifelong learner's award, n they called her up for a interview n also called me to get sum details n told me that they wld get back to me real soon soon if she gets chosen..I really hope she wins dat award cuz i think she deserves it the most..N i'm so PROUD of u mum..Muacksssssss:)))

Yeah im back after quite sometime..Anyways this week has been a rather happy one cuz i get to spend some quality time wit all my loved ones:)
On thur i met up wit my two lovelies - tien n ati though kin was missing..So we decided to meet to go town since it's been long since we went there..N as usual we had to fill up those hungry stomach of ours n then decided to walk ard abit, since all of us were tired decided to sit somwhere cosy and chat..
So off we went to Mccafe bought our drinks n cakes and chatted n chatted n chatted till it started to rain n somewhat the shelter was not good enuff to the rain fromm cumin in..Then we decided to leave n walk ard abit before heading bk hm..It felt so goos to see em both after a long tym, n gals we muz do it agn soon..It's with u gals that i ken ventilate better..Anyway i wld update pics later as my dearest tien have yet to send me the pics:)))

Then on Sat, my day stated quite bad when they told me dat one staff have taken MC, so i have to take charge of 9 patients all by MYSELF with no preceptor..Argh i was juz too worried if i cld cope but it was not bad afterall cuz my sister helped me to serve meds, yesh ken u believe it..Haha i myself cldn't believe it when i saw her servin meds for my patient..I was touched and said as many thanks as poss..Then my another colleague besides havin to juggle her 9 patients she bothered to check on me frquently to see how was i doing n helped to clear my doubts and even missed her break so that she ken countersign for my meds..I felt so touched once again, though work is hard this pple make my dae a batter one..So after work i headed to meet the bf haha he had his wisdon tooth extracted n cldn't tok much..Haha it was cute seeing him keep changin the gauze as it was bleeding quite abit..:P

So today i decided to dedicate the dae for my family, since they claimed that i neva spend time wit em ever since i started to work..But unfortunately dad cln't make it as he had work n my 2nd sis had sumthg on, So it was my mum, preya n mua n since all of us were craving for Thai express we cabbed down to bishan n indulged ourselves...Haha aft wich we walked ard abit n then we decided to have some ice-cream, having desserts after meals is a MUST for my family..So after much contemplation b/w swensens n Haagen-Dazs, we headed to Haagen-Dazs n ate our fills once agn...Haha how gulity i felt after eating so much today, haven't been exercising ever since i started work, shd hit the gym real soon..Anyways some pics on today's outing are below, enjoy....Ok pple im on am shift tmr so i shall go get some slp now..Gd nites n swt drms:)))

Well whoever who says or even thinks that nursing is such a easy job oR nursing is not a stressful job oR u dun haf to be smart to be a nurse deserves a slap hard on the face..Just try to be a nurse for one day and u wld noe how it feels...
So now being two weeks in the ward i oready feel lyk i need a break..There is juz so many things to learn and whicheva shift im in, im alwiz so busy..N my afternoons are neva free alwiz have admissions..Haiz well i guess it juz takes time before i can totally adapt n function independently...
Anyway on a lighter note it's my DO tmr, yeah so finally i ken slp till late morning..Sumhow my social life is so pathetic, i miss my friends n even my level 10 graduates..Haiz how i wish orientation lasts for 3 mths..hahaha ok then im feeling sleepy oready, i shall update soon when i get the time..Gd nite world:)))

Sumtyms i juz wonder if im really happy wit u.....

Well today i was proved wrong..All the while i've been thinking dat morning shift on sats wld be a breeze but it was NOT!! I had one discharge, two patients on trachy and one patient on Evd n so dat was enuff to keep me on my toes the whole shift..
N i was practically so busy not only tying to finish my reports, serve medications, doing the new changes,trying to retain the skills my CI was teaching me but i had to also entertain the relatives who constantly wanted an update of their loved ones..
Haha and of all times they had to come after the in- charge drs were off call..Haiz but at the end of all i still managed to finish my reports on time..Well i guess if sat mornings are this bad then what more mon mornings...
Hmmmm well whatever it is at the end of the day i don't regret a single bit on choosing this career:)) Well so much so on work, today i managed to spend some quality time with my mum, eversince i started working i had less time for her..And today it felt so good being each others' company..Well i guess dat abt it for today next week i wld be officially in the ward taking charge of 9 patients, all the best to me:))
Shall update next week if and when time permits me..Enjoy ur weekend peeps, toodles:))))

Wah actually i din expect myself to blog again dis fast..But oh well now dat i f the tym i shall update on wat happened on Tue..We level 10 graduates decided to have a gathering together n we went for a buffet at sakura cusine at Toa Payoh..But the most upseting part was when we get there all hungry, they said it was not halal, n we had 3 malay friends with us..Haiz but bcuz there was no pork cooked, the 3 malay gals decided to proceed with the plan.. Well i can't say the food was very delicious, i wld only rate it as average..Haha n wat more the whole place was filled wit our loud laughters n conversations..Wherever we Level 10 gals are around, no place ken be quiet, We r juz too loud or maybe bcuz we r in neuro wards(pple alwiz sae dat neuro nurses are loud bcuz they do CLC very often)..Haha i had alotz of fun n hopefully we cld do sumthg lyk this agn..Ok then now shall let the photos do the talking...

Yesh yesh i noe wat u pple mite be tinking FINALLY..Haha yea after dat much persuasions n constant reminders from every1 to create a blog, here i m:))) Well i dun noe if i can update my blog oftenly now dat im working,entered a new phase of my life...N not 4getting im on shift duty but i wld try to update as often as poss..N working life is not as easy as i tot, it is so much more demanding when u f to work wit so many diff pple with diff attitudes n personalities i guess i f to haf alot of patience to go thru it all..But there are a bunch of lovely gals in level 10 dat makes working life a more blissful one-n they are my dearest Janice,Eng sin,Nisa,Serene,Siti n kartini..Well intro em later wen i post the pics...N today i finally got to tok to my best friend from pri sch, we lost contact for lyk nearly to 7 years n yeah i juz cldn't stop laughin wen i was tokin her juz now..It all seems lyk a dream haha n we had so much to share..Haiz those were the days man..ok pple i guess datz all for today wana catch my chinese drama...Haha so till i blog next God bless all:)))
